As of Friday, October 9, 2020, the Government of New Brunswick has made mask wearing mandatory in all indoor public spaces. Members are now asked to wear a mask while inside our facility. Members are not expected to wear masks while actively engaged in exercise. We ask that members wear a mask when entering and leaving the facility, in hallways/stairwells, in the change rooms, while entering and leaving group fitness classes, etc. We ask that members keep their mask with them at all times. Please note, the YMCA will not be providing masks. We ask that you remain patient with our staff and other members as we all navigate the new regulations.
Dear YMCA Members, As we continue with our phased approach to re-opening your YMCA, we are happy to announce that we are extending our evening weekday hours to 9:00 p.m., effective Monday, July 6. We are thrilled to see so many members enjoying the facility in the evenings, while continuing to adhere to Public Health Guidelines.
The YMCA of Fredericton is launching a 50/50 fundraiser, raising resources to give children, adults, seniors, and families access to YMCA programs and services that will enable them to learn, grow and reach their full potential. We are excited to have our YMCA re-open and welcome you back! The YMCA Wellness Centre at 570 York Street will open Monday, June 8, 2020 at 6am. Group Fitness classes will resume with a modified schedule on June 9. Our pool is scheduled to re-open on June 15.
