YMCA Work Services

Employment ServicesThe YMCA Work Services Support Program offers individualized service to eligible clients who are adult residents of the Fredericton Region, who have social barriers and who are willing and able to commit to an employment action plan and are case managed and referred by one of the following departments:

  • Department of Social Development
  • Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training & Labour (PETL)
  • Department of Public Safety
  • Corrections Services of Canada

Participants in the YMCA Work Services Support Program will be able to access individualized and group support services in the following areas:

  • Career Decision-making
  • Skills enhancement
  • Job search
  • Employment maintenance

Government case managers are able to refer clients to any one phase of the aforementioned dimensions or for complete program support. All clients will be assigned to an Employment Counsellor who will work collaboratively with the client and referring case manager to develop a customized job search action plan for the client.
