After-School Program
What is After School?
Our YMCA After School program provides a fun, welcoming and engaging environment where school-aged children can learn, stay active, build friendships and have fun after the school day.
Children participate in a variety of activities based on their interests and input, including science experiments, read-alouds, arts and crafts, group activities, YMCA-wide initiatives and more. These experiences give children opportunities to explore their interests, be creative, make new friends and strengthen existing friendships.
Physical activity is also an important part of the program. Throughout the week, children have opportunities to enjoy swimming, gym activities, our indoor play climber and outdoor play.
