Meet Mary-Ellen & John Landry
Mary-Ellen & John are the dynamic duo that teaches our popular lunch hour Group Power Classes.
Both Mary-Ellen and John have both been devoted fitness enthusiasts for most of their lives. Mary-Ellen first connected to her YMCA in the 1970s when she took swimming lessons as a child. She then continued her journey with the Y when she decided to get her Fitness Instructor Certification in 1986. Since then, she has been a staff member, the Fitness Director from 1992 – 1996 and currently, she is a volunteer Group Fitness Instructor for MOSSA Group Power
John started working at the YMCA in 2005 when he started teaching kickboxing. He has been teaching Mossa Group Power for the last 18 years!
Mary-Ellen and John look forward to their interactions with members each week. They love the sense of community that is felt at our Y and the fact that this is a welcoming place for all.
