Junior Kindergarten

Back by popular demand, we are excited to launch a brand-new Junior Kindergarten program!
This program focuses on school readiness, helping prepare children for a successful transition to school the following year. Guided by the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework and the YMCA’s Playing to Learn curriculum, we take learning beyond the basics.
While children will explore letter recognition, counting, number recognition, and name writing, our primary focus is on building:
✨ Communication skills
✨ Problem-solving abilities
✨ Independence and self-help skills
Children will engage in circle time, music and movement, and group activities, helping them build confidence and social connections.
Program Details:
🗓 Monday–Friday
⏰ 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
👶 For children born in 2022 (entering school September 2027)
🚽 Must be fully toilet trained
This program will follow the ASD-W school calendar for closures and will run from September through June.
Each week, children will enjoy a rotating schedule of:
🏊 Swimming
🧗 Play climber
🌳 Outdoor play
This engaging, well-rounded program is designed to ignite potential and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
