Licensed Childcare Summer Camps

Registration for YMCA Summer Camps will open on Monday, March 9 at 7:00 a.m. ONLINE.

Pre-registration for current YMCA after school families will begin online on Monday, February 23 and open registration will start at 7:00 a.m. ONLINE on Monday,March 9.

To register: Click “Register Online” from the Summer Day Camps page. Log in with your existing YMCA membership account or create a new account. Please note: If you have had a YMCA membership or have had a child registered in a program since January 1, 2018, you will have an existing account. Use the “Forgot your password?” link and enter your email address. If you are unsure what email address we have on file for you, please contact us at info@ymcafredericton.org.

Please note: Email registrations are not accepted.

When registering your child for a session note that campers must have COMPLETED the grade the listed. (Eg. a child must have COMPLETED kindergarten in order to register for the K – 2 group).

YMCA Summer Day Camp at 570 York Street

Monday – Friday   8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Programming runs from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Week one of camp starts on June 22.

Final week of camp (week 11) starts on August 31.

 Y Summer Fun – $200.00

Swim Camp – $200.00

Specialty Camps – $200.00

Payment Information

  • For additional weeks of camp, full payment and/or authorized payment arrangements are required at the time of registration.
  • Pre-Authorized Payments will be processed weekly on the Monday before the camp according to the YMCA Day Camp Payment Schedule.

Financial Assistance: YMCA of Fredericton Summer Day Camps that operate from 570 York Street are licensed, thus we are able to bill the Day Care Assistance Program for youth registered in these camps. Day Care Assistance is not available to children registered in the Youth Program Sports Camps.

Subsidy: There is limited financial assistance available for families who cannot afford the full fee. Please contact outreach@ymcafredericton.org for more information.

*Camp Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawing with more than 2 weeks before a camp starts, 20% admin fee charged. This 20% is due upon registration for each camp.

Withdrawing with less than 2 weeks before a camp starts, 50% admin fee charged

Withdrawing after a camp starts, no refund issued.

*this does not apply if you are transferring camps within a specific week or within the full summer.

Y Summer Fun

Perfect for kids who like to do it all! Campers will dive into everything summer camp has to offer – swimming, gym activities, and an exciting weekly outing.

Swim Camp

Water lovers welcome! Campers must love SWIMMING – they’ll be in the pool 4 days a week for 30-minute lesson-style activity and a full hour of free swim, plus lots of other water fun!

Specialty Camp

We offer a variety of weekly themed camps designed to spark interest in new areas.

Camp Schedule for 570 York Street

The camps are divided between grades K – 2 and grades 3 – 5. Please note that children must have COMPLETED the grade indicated. (Eg. children in K will have COMPLETED kindergarten and will enter grade 1 in the Fall. Children in grade 3 will have COMPLETED grade 3 and will enter grade 4 in the fall.) Please note that (*) indicates 4 day camps due to holidays (Canada Day & New Brunswick Day) and Turn Around (September 4).
