As of Friday, October 9, 2020, the Government of New Brunswick has made mask wearing mandatory in all indoor public spaces.  https://fredericton.ymca.ca/About-Us/News

Did you know that each September we assist upwards of 200 elementary, middle and high school students with a YMCA School Scholarship membership?! This enables the nominated student to access our programs and services at no cost to their family. The YMCA of Fredericton works with guidance and school administration in both Anglophone West School District and the Francophone School District to help us identify the students who would benefit from a YMCA membership.
As a charity, we need your help! September and October are dedicated to raising funds to support our students! You can donate online at http://bit.ly/DonateNowToTheYMCAofFredericton, visit our Welcome Desk or contact shawna.white@ymcafredericton.org to set up a gift.
*Please note that you will receive an official receipt for income tax purposes for the full amount of your gift.

At the YMCA, we believe that everyone, regardless of their financial circumstance, deserves the chance to access our programs and services. Last year, more than 1200 participants turned to us for help, looking for a safe, welcoming place to engage in activities that improve their lives and help them achieve their goals. Currently, 1 out of 5 of our members and participants rely on this financial subsidy to take part in our programs and services, like day camp, health and fitness memberships, and swimming lessons— to name a few.

Through the support of our donors, the YMCA of Fredericton provided more than $250,000 in financially assisted programs and services to children and families in need last year.

Your gift will help ensure people of all ages are healthier and more productive regardless of their financial circumstance. Every dollar donated to the YMCA Strong Communities Campaign directly supports kids and families in your community.

The YMCA is for everyone.

Thanks to our annual YMCA Strong Communities Campaign, we provide financial assistance to make the YMCA of Fredericton affordable for everyone - children, youth, adults and seniors of all abilities, ages and backgrounds.

As a charity for more than 161 years, we rely on donations by individuals, businesses and community partners. Thanks to YOU, we have given thousands of people access to quality YMCA programs and services that will enable them to learn, grow and thrive.

Your gift will change a life.

The YMCA provides people with a safe place to connect, engage and feel part of their community.  We bring people together through supportive, inclusive and welcoming spaces aimed at improving the health and well-being of all. When you give to the Y, you ensure that a child, teen, adult or senior can access a Y program that they otherwise would not be able to afford.
