  • Annual General Meeting

Given the unprecedented circumstances related to the global spread of COVID-19, we have decided to postpone The Fredericton YMCA Inc. AGM originally scheduled for April 27th.    A new date for the AGM will be set once the New Brunswick Department of Health provides guidance that such gatherings can be done safely.

  • YMCA OF FREDERICTON CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: MARCH 16, 2020

    Temporary Full Facility Closure

The YMCA of Fredericton’s main priority is the health of our staff, members and the broader community.  As a socially responsible community organization, we feel it is important to help with our Community’s efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.

As of Monday, March 16 at 7:00pm, the YMCA of Fredericton is taking the necessary step to temporarily close all YMCA facilities, until further notice, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The closures are in compliance with the requirements of the Province of New Brunswick’s Minister of Health to aggressively manage physical social distancing in public places to prevent community spread.

Please note that no fees for memberships or child care services will be processed until our facilities re-open and services resume.

We will continue to use our website and social media to provide updates as the COVID-19 situation unfolds. If you have questions, please contact info@ymcafredericton.org.
These are extraordinary circumstances and we thank you for your patience and understanding.

The public washrooms in the hallways on both the upper and lower level (beside the elevator) will not be available for use, and as it is reserved for the children in our Child Care and After School programs only during this time.

We understand that during this time of uncertainty you may want to put your membership on hold.  We currently have a hold option for up to three (3) months per calendar year.  There are two methods of accessing our hold option without visiting the facility:
