  • Mandatory Mask - October 9, 2020

As of Friday, October 9, 2020, the Government of New Brunswick has made mask wearing mandatory in all indoor public spaces. Members are now asked to wear a mask while inside our facility. Members are not expected to wear masks while actively engaged in exercise. We ask that members wear a mask when entering and leaving the facility, in hallways/stairwells, in the change rooms, while entering and leaving group fitness classes, etc. We ask that members keep their mask with them at all times. Please note, the YMCA will not be providing masks.

We ask that you remain patient with our staff and other members as we all navigate the new regulations.

  • YMCA of Fredericton launches 50/50 Fundraising Campaign

YMCA of Fredericton launches 50/50 Fundraising Campaign
    (Fredericton, NB – June 23, 2020)

The YMCA of Fredericton is launching a 50/50 fundraiser, raising resources to give children, adults, seniors, and families access to YMCA programs and services that will enable them to learn, grow and reach their full potential.  Tickets are available for $2 each and can be purchased through the following website:  www.ymca5050.com

The first draw will take place on Friday, July 10th at noon with a guaranteed jackpot of $1000.  Subsequent draws will take place every Friday at noon on a weekly basis.  Options for ticket pre-payment purchases range from 1 week, 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks and 52 weeks.

As a charity for more than 162 years, the YMCA of Fredericton relies on donations by individuals, businesses and community partners.  Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, physical participation in community fundraisers is obstacle-laden; therefore, the YMCA is engaging in an online platform to better reach the Community during this time.

YMCA Strong Communities is focused on raising much needed resources to give individuals the opportunities they need to live healthier, happier lives.  Your gift will change a life.  The YMCA provides people with a safe place to connect, engage and feel part of their community.  We bring people together through supportive, inclusive and welcoming spaces aimed at improving the health and well-being of all. When you give to the Y, you ensure that a child, teen, adult or senior can access a Y program that they otherwise would not be able to afford.
