Welcome Elizabeth Kearns -The Director of Development for the YMCA of Fredericton

On behalf of the Fredericton YMCA, I am thrilled to announce the recruitment of Elizabeth Kearns as our new Director of Development. Philanthropy is a cornerstone to the YMCA’s community Impact and Elizabeth brings a unique skill set that will build on the solid foundation of donor engagement built by her predecessors at the YMCA.

Elizabeth has previously served as Senior Development Manager for The Chalmers Foundation and Senior Development Officer for Inclusion NB. The YMCA was also fortunate to have Elizabeth as part of the team as a welcome desk “opener” around 1998 – 2000. Here is what Elizabeth had to say about joining the YMCA as the Director of Development.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to work at the Fredericton YMCA. It has been a pillar in our community for so many years, a place where everyone can belong and reach their potential.

As the YMCA sets out on a strategic plan renewal, there are endless possibilities to further the reach and impact in our community. I am honoured to work alongside the staff team, Board, members and volunteers to share the story of the YMCA and why it is a vital piece of our community’s identity”.
